چکیده

TopoToolbox contains a set of Matlab functions that provide utilities for relief analysis in a nonGeographical Information System (GIS) environment. The tools have been developed to support the work flow in combined spatial and non-spatial numerical analysis. They offer flexible and user-friendly software for hydrological and geomorphological research that involves digital elevation model analysis and focuses on material fluxes and spatial variability of water, sediment, chemicals and nutrients. The objective of this paper is to give an introduction to the linear algebraic concept behind the software that employs sparse matrix computations for digital elevation model analysis. Moreover, we outline the functionality of the toolbox. The source codes are freely available in Matlab language on the authors’ webpage (physiogeo.unibas.ch/topotoolbox). 2009 Elsevier Ltd. TopoToolbox: Using Sensor Topography to Calculate Psychologically Meaningful Measures from Event-Related EEG/MEG

The open-source toolbox "TopoToolbox" is a suite of functions that use sensor topography to calculate psychologically meaningful measures (similarity, magnitude, and timing) from multisensor event-related EEG and MEG data. Using a GUI and data visualization, TopoToolbox can be used to calculate and test the topographic similarity between different conditions (Tian and Huber, 2008). This topogra...

Short Communication: TopoToolbox 2 – MATLAB-based software for topographic analysis and modeling in Earth surface sciences

TopoToolbox is a MATLAB program for the analysis of digital elevation models (DEMs). With the release of version 2, the software adopts an object-oriented programming (OOP) approach to work with gridded DEMs and derived data such as flow directions and stream networks. The introduction of a novel technique to store flow directions as topologically ordered vectors of indices enables calculation ...

TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION OF PLANE STRUCTURES USING BINARY LEVEL SET METHOD AND ISOGEOMETRIC ANALYSIS

This paper presents the topology optimization of plane structures using a binary level set (BLS) approach and isogeometric analysis (IGA). In the standard level set method, the domain boundary is descripted as an isocountour of a scalar function of a higher dimensionality. The evolution of this boundary is governed by Hamilton–Jacobi equation. In the BLS method, the interfaces of subdomai...
